Everyone also watched local youth artists perform and took part in a vote for their favourite who dared to take the stage. Local successful artist Kaydon performed some of his latest tunes to a big crowd after the vote for the top 3 'Crowd Pleaser' acts. Top crowd pleaser was local rapper AdotF who won 100 pounds worth of vouchers, 2nd place went to Mo Ajaal (Slingshot) who won £50 in vouchers and 3rd was rapper Ollie who got £25 worth of vouchers. BIGscene Tv cover the night which was a huge success, celebrating the diversity of the Tees Valley and the fact that young people are positive role models to others. Event organisers Marsha Garratt and Nadia Usman were pleased with the outcome. "We've worked hard with young people to produce this event and we want to thank everyone who took part, showed up and volunteered. We've showed what young people can acheive when they are given the opportunity, access to new skills and support." The next STOMP is planned for later in the year and promises to be bigger and better and if you want to take part contact can be made on Facebook under Carrie Garratt or STOMP.
