NEW FRONTLINE FREESTYLE - MAYAN RANSOM

This was an MC that a lot of people asked us to get on the FRONTLINE.  We met up a few months ago and filmed a freestyle over a Gramatik production (also used by Jister on his TFMFYN album).  To cut a long story short we had a little issue with the footage, but now ITS HERE.  Check it out and tell everyone to go and like our facebook page at www.facebook.com/bigscenetv

In The Zone, On The Frontline

New on the FRONTLINE......its ZONE.  The 19 yr old Teesside MC invited us on to his estate where he laced the BIG L 'Put It On' instrumental.  He treated us to 2 minutes worth of tongue twisting lyrical acrobatics.  We first heard of Zone when he dropped his 'What The Fuck Is A Chorus?' VIDEO SPECIAL - LASKASAK LAUNCH PARTY

Last month clothing range Laskasak threw their official launch party. We sent our cameraman Nicholas Fagbo to cover the event and check out what kind of products the brand has to offer.  Guests were welcomed with a champagne reception, then treated to  live performances followed by models sporting the garms on the catwalk.  Held at The Lobby in Teesside the night was a great success and was a definite welcome change for a night in the North East.  BIGscene.tv are all for supporting young designers/entrepreneurs so if you have a night or a venture you would like us to film or get behind then let us know!

BIIIGG NEW VIDS FROM THE NORTH EAST

A huge video from YSR artists Lazer and Dash.  The track entitled 'Ahh Yeah' was produced by Que and blends the old school with the new.  With punchlines galore, the Ryan Thompson directed video is a video effects haven.

Another big video to be recently released comes from Rex Regis.  "Are You Ready?" is the fourth single from his Faithful album and features singer Enya Jade.  The video was directed by Jamie Alderson, you can check it out below.  Here at BIGscene we are wondering when Rex is going to get his boys together and put out a BrainFeeders video??

Scorcher Interview

A little while back 'The Movement' MC and actor Scorcher was performing in the North East.  BIGscene.tv went and got an exclusive interview!  Unfortunately things didn't quite run as smoothly as usual and we had a few technical difficulties.  The maestros behind the (BIG)scenes have worked their magic and made the footage worth watching!

With the lovely Jamilah asking Skywalker some interesting questions, there's some eye-candy for the men and women in this one.  Give this one a watch and let us no what you think in the YouTube comments!

NEW CONTENT ON THE FRONTLINE!!!!!

OK. So late April/Early May has seen some new uploads to the BIGscene.tv channel.  First off was some bars from Newcastle based MC Phenzo.  Phenzo was one of them names that kept poppin up everywhere we went so we got in touch and he was eager to get on the Frontline.  Check out the energetic performance on the Joe Budden - Inception instrumental:

Next up was Grime General.  The Stockton based MC had already shown us his lyrical ability over a grime track so this time round he decided to switch it up and lace a Hip Hop beat.  He kept it short and effective with a definate message - "Legalise!".  Heres the vid:

The most recent upload features a BIGscene favourite; U Call Me Sir.  The Makem MC was last seen on the channel with North East SuperCrew Brainfeeders in their cypher.  This time Sir stepped on to the Frontline and gave us some pre-written delights aswell as some freestyle.  As always his bars are lyrical and humourous.......

North East Hip Hop: Cannabis Clouds

Newcastle based Hip Hop trio 'The Projekt' have treated us to another new single and video.  Their last single was 'Masks', which featured self confessions about the way the group act in different social situations.  The new single continues to use that interesting formula of self evaluation but this time is focused around a topic that is all too familiar to The Projekt......getting baked!  The delivery, content and live band sounding production (provided by Sermstyle) give the track more depth than your generic stoner song, and we like that.  Coupled with a catchy hook and a well shot/edited video (Nick Light) it looks like Cannabis Clouds will be another well received release from these guys.
